Mayor Mitch Colvin, a native of Fayetteville, has a passion for helping to improve the City and its citizens. That's why he's going for a fifth term. He was elected in November 2017 as the City's longest serving African-American mayor and is currently serving his fourth term. Prior to that, he served two consecutive terms as a city council member for District 3 from 2013-15 and as Mayor Pro Tem from 2015-17.
