ASX 200 hits another record high of 7563 up 24 points (0.3%) after once again shrugging off a soaring case number in Sydney. Banks eagerly awaiting the results kick off with CBA up 1.5% and the Big Bank Basket up to $187.99 Gold miners suffered the slings and arrows but lithium stocks were greeted by outrageous fortune on broker upgrades and some strategic corporate moves. PLS up 11.0% and NVX up 15.6% as Phillips 66 chips in. Industrials and tech firms with the All Tech Index (APT really) up 1.6%.
 
Softbank Q1 Earnings  Pre Tax profit up 55%, beating expectations.
