Mari-Carmen Farmer, MSN, CNM, WHNP-BC works in Philadelphia as a midwife. She shares her 22 year long journey to midwifery, entangled with working, motherhood, growing her family and the loss of a child. Mari-Carmen continues her work in anti-racism and inclusion in birth work, and shares her philosophy and perspective on this subject, as well as some projects she is doing to advocate this work within the community.
