  • New dark ambient SCI-FI music
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=marianosdeath/rjjbzlsm
I am producing more music in the genre of Dark ambient, this track particularly was made for a SCI-FI soundtrack movie.
Like I said in prvious posts I am producing audiobooks, and I usually need a background sounds, specially if the sound is ethereal.
Thats why I am producing a lot in this style and like a said in previopus posts this style is becoming my therapy
at this point because its so chill and relaxing.
    ![soundtrack_movie_stuff_First_Frame.png](https://images.hive.blog/DQmXNzWqwkR5X2MmuyScPBjptcygDAQctpQEMH5uHKUjvrH/soundtrack_movie_stuff_First_Frame.png)
I feel like this music can be use for meditation and relaxation too, I am using the C -Scale as always, and also dyads, and my favorite Chord is C, I am using that one a lot.
This time Im using a different plugin, not the usual Sytrus, this time Im using Morphine Additive synthesizer, I feel like
this sound has a lot of depth and is perfect for futuristic music.
I made this visuals using this music:

I made two version of this track one of them is this one:

Its the original mix and the other one is the one that is on the 3speak
As always you can download this track here and you can use it too, its open source

  • New Music - Pieta Soul (Strange days remix ) - Jam sessions LIVE / MUSIC PRODUCTION TIPS
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=marianosdeath/lnzahsfl
Today I was in a good mood to make beats, and to post them on chain,
This track is called Pieta Soul, it's inspired by an replica of the Pieta a work by Micheangelo, a very powerful sculpture I saw while I was walking in the city, it captivated a spiritual vibe but at the same time an urban and wordly style.
That's me in a nutshell basically, so that was the vibe that I wanted to capture in this track.
    ![4555.png](https://images.hive.blog/DQmckNPuLGWCZZBude6Fksi2Ycc1ji8CnRwHaXdcGZUA1oe/4555.png)
    ![coollogo_com-202371026.png](https://images.hive.blog/DQmUcgUb5wVb4hT19RmSg8mR7pnp8yN8j6tonbz6T4xJqLd/coollogo_com-202371026.png)
    REALLY TECHNICAL STUFF
This time I'm gonna make a deep dive n into the technical specs on this production, because I think it's really interesting and I want to share this info with the musical community.
Sometimes it tends to be a little intimidating producing from scratch, its like starting a paint with a blank page, so I have a technique to overcome this, and I put notes randomly without even hearing them, I put them wherever on the piano roll, and then after that I hear and I fix them until I find a catchy melody, its my secret strategy to overcome the paralysis by analysis, because I know it hard to start specially when you have so many options to choose from in terms of sound, notes, effects and so on...
I started with the note C5 then D#5 and little by little I got that main melody or "leitmotiv" that repeats on the whole beat with variations.
    ![xxxxxxxxxxx.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmdZWouncJSTMZMqS9kAJooriGKAdSC2rBRCLwDjf7GPd5/xxxxxxxxxxx.jpg)
Another cool thing aboit this track is the sound "Dark horse" this is like a filler sound, you know that if you have the melody by itself, it tends to sound a little bit off, it's like it doesn't go well, so to give a little more "vibe" I use some "ghost" notes to fill the sound.
Usually this sound has the same notes as the main melody but with other variations to give a little more depth to the track.
    ![aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmWbPt1vbTDKs7pi6ny21zuwqsuGd2zf3wUHhGc4nnixsJ/aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.jpg)
So little by little I kept adding more sounds to the mix, this is called sequencing in electronic music, its like you are making a build up adding more and more sounds until you have the full texture.
After the Dark Horse sound I put the Clap, it depends on the producer, I use to start the drum beat with hi hats but I think claps are my favorite now, then I put the hijats and finally the KICK DRUMS, thats when the full mood comes into place.
I used a filter called "fruity distortion" this is inportant for me because I want to have a signature sound on my tracks and with time I realized that mine is distortion, so I apply a lot of it, specially on the channel of the kick drums, but after that I did it with the Effector plugin on the master, along with the low fi.
Finally after messing around with those effects I put the tag Strange Days because thats the name of this remix, and right after that for the second part of the track I used the gross beat, to give variations to the beat to make it more dynamic and fun.
    ![jjjj.png](https://images.hive.blog/DQmTeVibRDyCXxiUcpQvMfRooVXeaai9CsJ8ubmKnVUL1Pv/jjjj.png)
Describing the whole track technically was fun and very interesting, sometimes we overlool this kinds of details when we hear a track and we don't see the whole stuff that goes on on the background, but remember that every producer has a reason why he is using a particular sound and how on each second of the track and if we take the time to appreaciate those little things se get a much more rich experience enjoying the art.
I hope you enjoyed the music, as always you are free to use the music.
Thank you for checking out the blog and until next time with more music!

  • Dark ambient mystical music is changing my art and my life (thank you)
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=marianosdeath/pnkigqiv
Today I am producing classical dark ambient music, this time I wanted to experiment with some chord progressions and some some nice smooth melodies, I feel like
the more I dive into this type of music it becomes more and more expressive.
I posted a few hours ago some visuals for my previous release of music and now I realize that this type of music has influenced a lot on my approach to art in general.
Its becoming more ethereal in a way, more "mystical" I feel like this music is like a portal to other dimensions of consciousness in a way, we all know that music is an extension of humans soul, because its an expression of emotions and feelings, that why I think that it all starts with art in general and I also realized that the more I produce this type of music its easier.
Its becoming my favorite genre because it flows naturally, its like a part of me at this point.
I think my life in general is changing everyday, so this post is basically just a reminder to myself to keep going, because music is healing me, so
I am really grateful for music.
I really dont know what I would do if I didnt have music in my life. So this is basically a post to say thank God, thank you life, thank you music, thank you art, thanks universe, and also thank you
for letting me share with you this part of mem that until now it was secret even to me.

  • Soundtrack music - Angel crying
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=marianosdeath/peaxduft
Today I want to share this soundtrack music. This music is very special to me because I produced it with a lot of inspiration, I wanted to capture some
    mystical emotions.
Its insired by an image in my head of angels, watching churches being burned, because thats something that I watch on the news from timne to time and I was wondering how angels feel about that and I think they are sad and they cry. That particular feeling of helplessness to help and to be patient at the same time is what I wanted to express with this notes.
    Techincal information
To make this track I used the software FL STUDIO, that I always recommend because it has some new features that you can use, you can download it for free here:
    https://www.image-line.com/fl-studio-download/
I used a plugin called Sytrus, it has amazing sounds and I used two. One of them is "Choir" to make the chord progression and the other one is the sound of "bells" because it captures the mystical essence of the track because I used this sound for the main melody.
It sound almost like a horro movie soundtrack, in particular a gothic horror movie, I think it sound like a movie from the Universal Horror flicks from Hollywood or the Hammer films from the UK. I think those series have inspired a lot of my music because the soundthey used impacted me from since forever really. Those movies are classic!
    BONUS TRACK
I am producing a lot of dark ambient music this days, and I published anbother track using the same software my favorite FL Studio and also the Choir sound, for an audiobook Im producing, this is called San Sebastian.
    Short:

    Full track:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHN2LapiKXg
    Artwork:
For the art I used a photograph of the Cathedral San Sebastian, in my city Cochabamba - Bolivia.
I like the aesthetic of this building because it has a mystic about it, it has a name of the martyr called San Sebastian and his story is also very insteresting that goes also with the concept of this music.

  • New ambient Sci-fi track (Free to use)
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=marianosdeath/mmnuuipa
This time Im sharing new ambient instrumental track, this is becoming my new favorite and recurrent genre that Im producing. It calms me mind, and it gives me so much peace. After so many years producing Electronic Dance music, I realized that I was just putting my music in a box, this genre opened the limitis to produce and to be more creative overall.
    Techinical stuff
To make this music I used the C Scale, thats my favorite for this type of style, I used also a sound called AMBIENCE, its on the catalog of the Sytrus plugin on the Digital Audio Workstation that I love to use thats FL STUDIO.
For recording this track I used the Software called AUDACITY. I think is the best software to record sounds inside the computer, lately it has new features.
This software is open source I highly recommend it because its really easy to use for begginers.
I applied two effects on this track using audacity software one of them is ECHO and the other one is reberv, this two effects are key to make your track sound more ethereal and dreamy.
Its really important if you, like in this case want to produce a dark vibe, post-apocalypctic aethetic.
Im planning on making a little audiobook using this type of sounds actually because I was practicing and it fits really cool.
I will keep you posted on that.
Its really easy, you can do it even with just a phone.
Basically is the same thing as Im making my audiobook, you first record on the phone or external microphone the vocals, the speech and the you mix it with audacity or in my case since Im making an audiobook with subtitles included, you can use a video editing software for the mixing process, Im using in this case Camtasia, that I actually used to screen record this video on 3speak.

  • [Free to use Music soundtrack ] - Cube rotations from outer space - Sci-fi soundtrack
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=marianosdeath/xusqexcw
This track has a very tense vibe, , Im experimenting creating an immersive soundscape, specially for an indie movie with a Science fiction theme or a really tense poetry, or even a suspense documentary, like one of those mystery, conspiracy type of videos or even I think it fits for futuristic style Im thinkin cyberpunk, hightech low life kinda stuff . Thats why I call this track "Cube rotations from outer space" I think its an abstract concept that fits the aesthetic.
I will use it for a chapter of a book that is very tense words.
    ![kaleidoscopePainter.png](https://images.hive.blog/DQmVrYRVVKgk3VwdFd9uRHawQP591atLwzLFgbtmhc8Xc69/kaleidoscopePainter.png)
In this particular track I created two parts, they are put together at the minute 1:15 mark.
The first is like a built up and the other second part doenst have so long notes, it feels like releasing the tension a little bit and has a lot more a dyads and slightly shorter notes. In this piece of music I wanted to use what in music theory we call a dyad, thats a set of two notes or pitches played simultaneously. It adds a a particular vibe to the track.
    ![track.png](https://images.hive.blog/DQmRpvaC5G1kWLGa4iJGFiZd1jVdSrqqeMjYU1eBpk5cLQF/track.png)
This graph its from the program Audacity that I use to record the live production in my tracks, its perfect because you can record them with High Quality and render it in any format you want, I recommend you to use the WAV format, for a top tier quality.
This time I used a sound called "Atmosphere" a sound that is a part of the plugin called SYTRUS , that at the moment is my favorite. I used the default settings because it sounds perfect for this tense style.

    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=marianosdeath/xpmforaf
I've recently ventured into the depths of sound design ALL IN, almost everyday Im producing a new track, Im on a roll, today Im emerging with a dark ambient track that I created using the Harmor plugin in FL Studio. I usually use this plugin for basslines when Im producing electronic music but today I wanted to try something different.
    ![kaleidoscopePainter.png](https://images.hive.blog/DQmTVaYaQ1HLAn4NGZU2udSgsTGsSZ2bushU2BpzBdmVBkN/kaleidoscopePainter.png)
As always I made it on the C scale (my favorite) it gives this tense feeling Im looking for, I realized that this style of music is really relaxing to make , I guess thats why I keep doing it, at first it was out of my confort zone, but little by little doing it feels comfy.
I feel like this could be perfect for Soundtrack of a SCIFI movie because this track
evokes a sense of unease and mystery, its almost like its resonating with the whispers of the abyss or something like that. Im gonna use this for the audiobook Im doing itm it feets perfect for videos with a mystical topics too like documentaries. The sky is the limit.

Dear friends, today Im sharing a tutorial on how to turn your music from 440 Hertz to 432.
You might think, why would I want to do that? Well, first of all this frequency has healing capabilities. In my own experience it somehow makes the listening experience more enjoyable.
Whether you're an audiophile, musician, or someone who enjoys experimenting with sound, tuning your music to 432 Hz can offer a unique listening experience thats for sure. So at least I recommend you to try it for yourself.
Some proponents say that 432 Hz is more in harmony with the nature and the universe, leading to a more relaxing and calming experience, and I can totally get it.
If you look online for info there is literally thousands of sites that exaplains it , if you are ready to dive into this rabbit hole, I recommend you to star with this short article:

  • Drawing practice with Mariano - Portrait
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=marianosdeath/qhaqdmne
Today I wanted to make art, its been a while since I made a portrait with crayons, I think maybe two years now, its crazy how time flies. I have been so focused on music that making traditional art was put up aside for a loing time. So Im a little bit out of the loop maybe.
But the MUSCLE MEMORY is there still, so IIm happy about that.
This particular portrait was so much fun to make because I didnt know what to expect. It was a different experience, at first I wasnt sure about how it was gonna be, in fact I wasnt happy at first, but you know the typical phrase "trust the process" this was exactly the case.
I didnt give up and I finished with a drawing that I actually really like.
The character turned up like a little bit of a cartoon aesthetic in my opinion.
I like to draw with crayons because this material you cant erase so it has this feeling of each line counts and its permanent.
I dont like to use eraser because I like to flow and improvisation for me its very important in art and also in music.
The result is always raw and that whats makes it special in a way.
This was the result after I did the video
    ![20240723_164014.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmZKZQ2x2pHFqtVpQixx4twLsWmL7P91ubtxTT9X98bRZF/20240723_164014.jpg)
But then I was thinking of movement so I made the character with a longer hair, like a prophet, I think it looked better
