Santa Rita Acacia or Mariosousa millefolia  is found in the borderlands of Arizona and Sonora between 3,000 and 5,000 ft. Hey,  two different countries share this species! Well, that’s the way it is with all the flora and fauna of the borderlands. Yay!   The photo of foliage and the green seed pods is by Sue Carnahan. Thank you!
