The Law of God unveils the desperate state of human depravity pointing us to our desperate need for rescue. God’s perfect plan of rescue in Christ grants us a new desire to live for His glory by the power of the indwelling Spirit.

From the beginning, God’s promise to Abraham had Christ as the ultimate goal. The Law never replaced or changed the promise and was always a temporary guide. Faith in God’s promise has and always will be the only means to gain a right relationship with God.

The Christian Gospel is a message concerning God’s eternal desire to pursue sinners, regardless of their past, in order to transform them into heralds of His marvelous grace in Christ for the increase of His own glory.

It is a serious concern for those who are called by the gospel, to turn away from the infinite grace of God in Christ to a different message, distorted by the unrelenting pressures and people of this world and so cease to be committed to the service of Christ.
