Who is Marisa Warren?

Marisa is a global tech advisor, social entrepreneur and speaker, who is incredibly passionate about
elevating women to higher levels and building a collaborative tech ecosystem. As an entrepreneur, Marisa
has built three global businesses from idea stage to revenue producing, and worked in Australia and New
York for companies such as SAP, Microsoft and Workday.

Whilst living in New York, Marisa founded ELEVACAO Foundation – a global not for profit empowering
women entrepreneurs to build and launch successful tech businesses. Since ELEVACAO’s launch mid 2015,
they have helped over 65 women get pitch ready across New York, Sydney and Melbourne. With this
number growing to over 1,000 by 2020 as they continue to scale globally.

This year ELEVACAO partnered with TechCrunch to bring TechCrunch Battlefield to Australia for a 1-day
event November 16 @ the Australian Technology Park in Sydney. TechCrunch coming to town is an awesome
opportunity for AU/NZ startups to pitch on a global stage and truly show the world what our startups have to
offer.
