Marisha Wallace is currently playing Effie White in the West End production of Dreamgirls. We had a chat in her dressing room at the Savoy Theatre about her work on Broadway, bringing the show to London and the moment she first performed And I Am Telling You on the West End stage.

Marisha also told me why she thinks Playbills should be introduced in London so audiences know who they’re seeing on stage without having to pay for a programme.
