In compassion, Jesus feeds the 4000. The Pharisees begin to argue with Jesus, seeking a sign from heaven. Others get who Jesus is, the Disciples don't. Jesus heals our unbelieving spiritual eyesight in stages, just like he healed the blind man's sight in stages at Bethsaida. We don't see clearly upon immediately coming to Jesus. Our spiritual journey is one of continuous growth and revelation. As we seek Jesus earnestly and allow Him to open our spiritual eyes, we come to a deeper understanding of God's love, His plan for our lives, and our purpose in His Kingdom.
