Mark 9–11

In this episode, we continue our journey through the Gospel of Mark with chapters 9–11. These chapters show powerful moments in Jesus’ ministry, His teaching on faith, humility, and prayer, and His triumphant entry into Jerusalem.

Summary:

  • Mark 9 – The Transfiguration, Jesus heals a boy with an unclean spirit, and He teaches on true greatness and avoiding sin.
  • Mark 10 – Jesus speaks about marriage and divorce, blesses the children, teaches on wealth and the Kingdom, and foretells His death. Bartimaeus, the blind beggar, is healed.
  • Mark 11 – The Triumphal Entry, Jesus curses the fig tree, cleanses the temple, and teaches on faith and forgiveness in prayer.
