The parsha for this week, Noach (Gen. 6:9 through 11:32) tells us more about what "as it was in the days of Noach" could mean. But there is, interestingly, a WHOLE lot of "ambiguity" in some parts of the story as well.

This week it's time for the Sabbath Day session to go in a 'Whole 'Nuther Direction' than Mark often does -- because this might be THE singular story - or set of stories - in Scripture with the most "unanswered questions."

Scripture is clear: We are not to "add to", nor "subtract from" those things which He has commanded, and are "as Written." But when we look at the confusion that is today, and ask reasonable questions, like, "Is THIS what 'as it was in the days of Noah' looks like?" that we are not only inclined to "connect the dots," but perhaps even...speculate.
