The book of Mark concludes with Jesus' trial, crucifixion, and resurrection. Jesus proves His authority over the kingdoms of this world and death by being resurrected after a brutal and torturous death. He ends the gospel by telling His disciples to continue the mission and to make disciples by baptizing and teaching them to observe Jesus commands.
