Dems Fight Over Abortion, A Response | The Mark Harrington Show | 6-27-19

During the Democratic Presidential debate, the Dems fought over who is more pro-abortion demonstrating a kind of one-upmanship among the candidates.  

In this episode of The Mark Harrington Show, Mark responds to each of the candidate’s pro-abortion talking points. Especially the comments of Julian Castro, who said that “trans-females” should have the right to tax-funded abortions.  Say what? 

To say the Democratic Presidential field is crowded is an understatement. Apparently, most Americans don’t even know who half of the candidates are.  On the light side, during the debate I kept thinking that maybe the debate selection committee simply grabbed random people from the audience to debate. In fact, the stage was so full I expected Bill DeBlasio to fall off the left side at one point.  Maybe rather than a debate the candidates should all arm wrestle to see who wins the nomination. It would be simpler and may not change the outcome since they are all so bad.

Honestly, each candidate went so far to the extreme I wonder if we will soon hear that “reproductive freedom” should include the right to kill a toddler using our tax dollars!

The truth is, the Democrat candidates for president are so far left on every issue I can understand why many pundits think Donald Trump is a shoo-in for 2020.

Sanctuary Cities for the Unborn | The Mark Harrington Show | 6-20-19

President Trump says that candidates that support sanctuary cities for illegal immigrants should be disqualified from running for president

What about candidates who support creating sanctuary cities for the unborn?

Recently, the city of Waskom, TX took a stand against abortion as the city council unanimously adopted a resolution and an ordinance in support of Waskom becoming Texas’ first “sanctuary city for the unborn.”

With the passage of the Heartbeat Bill in Louisiana, Waskom is concerned that Louisiana women will cross the border to seek to procure abortions in Texas.

Those who support the effort say the action won’t stop abortion clinics from moving to Waskom, “but if they do they’ll be breaking the law.”

Waskom is right in seeking to align itself with the United States Constitution and not the Supreme Court’s unlawful court opinion in Roe v. Wade.

This ordinance outlawing abortion in Waskom, Texas refuses to believe and propagate this lie, but seeks to expose it as false.

However, as usual, not everyone is happy. Because the measure includes exceptions for rape and incest, some “all or nothing” abortion opponents don’t support the action.

Believing that legislation that allows for rape and incest violates primary doctrines of the Christian faith, they oppose the efforts of Waskom.

Coming back down to earth, Mark demonstrates how prudential measures are winning in the battle to outlaw abortion.

Big Tech Bans Anti-Abortion Information as “Porn, Conspiracy Theories” | The Mark Harrington Show | 6.13.2019

The writing is on the wall.

Just recently, LiveAction.org was put on a “pornography” blocklist on Pinterest in an effort to suppress their pro-life content from being shared on the platform.

Pinterst wrote, “We don’t allow harmful misinformation on Pinterest. That includes medical misinformation and conspiracies that turn individuals and facilities into targets for harassment and violence.”

Created Equal has also had our information referred to as “pornography.” In an abortion debate at the Purdue University, professor Dr. David Sanders in May 2017 referred to victim images of abortion as child pornography.

Online censorship of prolife groups and anti-abortion content is not new. Because of our use of abortion victim video and pictures, Created Equal is accustomed to being censored online.

Youtube, Facebook, and Instagram are notorious for censoring pro-life content and the leaders of the pro-life movement need to take heed of the coming total shut down of content on social media sites. Begging these platforms to be fair is a losing position.

Despite referring to themselves as open platforms, social media sites have essentially become publishers. Publishers can publish what they wish and are not required to adhere to first amendment protections given to traditional public platforms.

Adding the coming censorship storm was the endorsement by over 180 CEO’s of letter a letter that ran as a full-page ad in The New York Times Monday under the headline "Don't Ban Equality."

Pro-life groups that rely entirely on social media to educate the American people on abortion are going to eventually be shut down. 

The crackdown I predicted years ago by big tech is happening now and there is little prolifers can do about it. It’s time for those groups who have put all their eggs in the online basket.  

Rather than fight a losing battle with multi-billion dollar corporations, Created Equal uses the only venue that cannot be shut down and has been proven successful in bringing about social reform – the public square.  

In the meantime, conservative and Christian entrepreneurs need to come up with social media alternatives like Fox News is to the establishment media.

Pro-life organizations need to find an alternative soon or be left out in the cold.

LOSERS: Ginsberg, PP and Roe | The Mark Harrington Show | 5-30-19

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg doesn’t know what constitutes being a mother.

Planned Parenthood is shuttering abortion centers everywhere and their CEO Leana Wen is a liar.

And Roe is crumbling.

It’s been a bad week to be pro-abortion in America!

On todays show, Mark explains why he has been sending Ruth Bader Ginsberg retirement brochures, preparing for the first abortion free state, and counting the days until the SCOTUS strikes down Roe v. Wade.

Also, the SCOTUS upheld a Indiana law requiring abortion businesses to humanely dispose of aborted fetal remains.

What we have here is the classic military pincer move.

1. Pressure waste disposal companies to dump Planned Parenthood and the abortion cartel (our Project Weak Link) which can force abortion centers to close because they will have no way of disposing of the dead babies.

This leaves them with no options. These laws forbid incineration through a company like Stericycle and require funeral homes to do their dirty work.

While both pro-life and pro-abortion groups are focused on state abortion bans, these humane disposal bills are getting signed into law and in some ways pose a bigger threat than these bans do are because they are now constitutional.

They only long-term solution for the abortion industry to this threat is to create their own incineration facilities on-site or form and operate separate medical waste companies or funeral homes.  In fact, Tara Health, who raises money for abortion clinics nation-wide, is already raising money to build such a facility.

Fighting the supply side of abortion doesn’t generally get much attention or raise much money, and therefore, is fairly neglected by our own movement.
