Shepherd--a veteran of World War I and former British Royal Air Force Captain. Mark Hunnibell--a former United States Air Force Captain--discovered Shepherd's book while beginning to restore his own "basket case" 1919 Henderson motorcycle that his father had given him decades earlier.
