Robert Colen and Kenneth Colen visited us in the studio to tell us about the new Aquatic Center that will be built in the On Top Of The World Community. The Aquatic Center at the College of Central Florida will soon be closed and this new facility will serve Marion County in a similar way as the center at CF has for many years.

Dietician and Nutritionist Keri Gans called in from New York City to tell us about a new study by the Almond Board of California that shows almonds may benefit aging skin. The website Keri gave us is www.almonds.com/wrinkles

Gail Keicher-Todaro and Alan Anscombe joined us in the studio to speak about the work they do in Ocala to bring roller skating to residents, both young and old. This was a fun interview. Gail even know what "The Kitchen Sink" was at Jahn's Ice Cream Parlor in Levittown, NY!

The Silver Springs Radio Club joined us in the studio on June 18, 2019 to speak about an event that was upcoming and about the amateur radio hobby in general. In the studio were Elbert Wilkinson, Andy Allen, and Carl Berry. Calling in on phone was Jim Penna.

Jeremiah Delgado came into the studios on July 3, 2019 to talk to us about a news service he is with called www.Ocala-News.com as well as others (like www.villages-news.com). Jeremiah spoke about the process of gathering news, news on the internet in general, and the future of how we get out news, especially local news.

Author and runner Mina Samuels called in to give us a deeply personal interview based on the writings in her book "Run Like A Girl 365 Days A Year." The book has 365 entries that reflect Mina's own reflections on her own life, life in general, and the joys we discover along the way. It was a true joy to speak to Mina. The book is, as Mina proved to be, authentic, deep thinking while simultaneously light hearted, and truly motivational in both the physical and the emotional.

Jodé Millman called into the studios on Friday, June 14, 2019, to speak about her book, "The Midnight Call." The story is based on a true event that happened in Poughkeepsie, New York. In Jode's novel, attorney Jessie Martin’s lifelong mentor and friend, Terrence Butterfield, calls Jessie to say he has killed someone and he pleads for Jessie’s help. But her presence at Terrence’s home implicates her. Now Jessie must untangle the web of lies and reveal the shocking truths behind the homicide.
