Just over a year ago in 2020, employment spiked from a historical

low of 3%  — all the way up to over 15%, as businesses were forced to close. Now today, (over a year later), this number has fallen to about 6%, which is still twice as high as where we were, before the forced economy shutdown happened.

But today, the U.S. is facing a different, and actually a paradoxical problem. Where as today, people are not having trouble finding jobs, but instead, jobs are having problems finding workers.

Nothing is forever except change and evolution, in order to handle the changes that come, you have to know where in the cycles we are so you can know the right strategies for dealing with them. Cycles build on each other, repeating over and over, and as we have discussed, they are reactionary. Meaning the actions of one cycle, push the actions of the next.

You need to understand that financial market cycles are influenced by political, cultural , social, and technology cycles. Like winter, spring, summer and fall, the financial market cycles, move in cycles.

Now if you are aware of this phenomenon, you can better prepare your investments to reflect this reality. Understanding this is key to surviving these cycles, especially the bigger cycles or financial revolutions, as I will explain today. 

Financial Markets ebb and flow, from bull to bear, and on a larger scale —the wealth of nations, and their time in the spotlight as the superpower of the world, and reserve currency constantly shift. At least when zoomed out over a long enough time frame, it's not much of a surprise. Better educated people produce better societies that are more innovative, competitive, and productive. 

The increased information and education over the last 500 years has shifted wealth and power away from the agrarian economy, where land ownership was the main source of power to an industrial economy, where capitalists that owned production capabilities had power. Now, that shift is happening again, but this time it's shifting into digital things, like data and information. This is already becoming the most valuable thing and this will drive the markets through the next cycle and will be the new source to gain wealth and power. 

We are just now, starting to move much deeper into the most intense phase of the Economic Winter Season. Another 80-year Economic Cycle, and with it comes a once-in-a-lifetime great reset of debt and financial-asset bubbles. The emergence of a whole new economy, just as occurred in the 1930s. Think of the advantages if you could have seen that great reset coming — the sale of a lifetime in financial assets back then!

Today's Economists, heads of central banks, and governments seem to think that we can just be stable and grow forever — with no volatility, inflation, deflation, and no more recessions. They seem to completely disregard the naturally oscillating dynamics of innovation, and change.

They think "the market" is like a machine that can be built, and controlled. But, it's not a mechanical machine, it's a biological, diverse, and complex organism. Because it's driven by over 7.5 billion people, and their irrational ever-changing wants, needs and desires, they live in a fairy tale world. Never having run a business, or experiencing real life — they are a product of the 4th turning, living on the past success of the generations before them.

It's the setbacks and the struggles that make us grow. It enables and encourages progress, growth and innovation.

This is your guide and what you need to be doing and

prepared for now! It’s clear the world is cracking apart, everyone knows it, and everyone can feel something is wrong — but most can't put their finger on it. In the U.S. and around the world, tensions have never been higher, everyone knows below the surface something is wrong, but... these are just the symptoms you can see. You can feel it but what is the cause? What's at the root of it all?

In life there are all types of cycles. In nature, we have; Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter —  feast and famine, boom and busts. Today, we see them all over; debt cycles, business cycles, presidential cycles, credit cycles, and technology cycles. Understanding these cycles unlocks the key, to see into the future.

What we are seeing happen through every country in the world across every society, seems random to most, like a black swan event. But, once you understand the cycles, you will have a new framework, or a new lens to view the events unfolding from, and it will become crystal clear.

The last time these three cycles converged, the whole world changed! Now this is your guide, and what you need to be doing to be prepared.

It's clear the world we're going into is not the same as the one we're leaving behind. Anyone paying attention can see that the entire world is going through massive changes.

Political, social, cultural, all those structures are changing. We have technological advancements that are coming in fast. The global financial system as we know it, is running out of options. And when you're playing a game, and you run out of moves, what do you do next? Well, you're going to have to reset the game.

Which makes sense, since the voice of the world economic forum is calling for a great reset and their agenda for that. It's become so loud, but there's three factors to consider that could help, hurt, or affect the global elites' plans.

Now understanding history helps us to know what's happening now. But more importantly, it unlocks the keys to the future, by understanding human nature and progress. To understand and make sense of this, we have to look at three key areas together.

These three cycles and revolutions, will help us to understand this impact as well as where they are going. What's happening to the world isn't just about de-levering, it's not about inflation, or deflation, it's much bigger than that.

American philosopher George Santayana said, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it". This means while we look forward to the future, we must also learn from the lessons of the past, so we don't make the same mistakes, and even better — we can use these lessons to our advantage.
