Her research focuses primarily on the intersections of race and gender and how the legal system tackles those complexities in administering justice. Yvette’s scholarship examined the ways in which historically disadvantaged minority groups, particularly Black women, are impacted by existing social and legal antidiscrimination laws, theories, and jurisprudence.Currently, she teaches Torts, Advanced Torts, and Professional Responsibility.Yvette is licensed to practice in Maryland and D.C.We talk to Yvette about her backstory & more!!!
