Mark Yan is a Sault Ste. Marie ex-pat with fond memories of his childhood years spent in his hometown. Now, long a resident of Brampton, Ontario, Mark’s career as a massage therapist and his life as a husband and father drifted him away from his musical pursuits, but with time and age he has returned to songwriting and performing on stage.

Actively playing originals and covers as solo or duo act for micro-breweries, house parties, festivals or home concerts, Mark got around to playing in his hometown for the first time in almost 60 years. Inspired by Van Morrison, Simon & Garfunkel, Crosby Stills & Nash, John Prine, and The Boss, Mark delivered original music on his debut record, “Just as One” in Nov 2022, available on most streaming platforms.
