Hr: U proljetno jutro, Dolac tržnica u Zagrebu bila je puna života.
En: On a spring morning, the Dolac market in Zagreb was full of life.
Hr: Šarene štandove krasilo je razno voće, povrće i mirisno bilje.
En: Colorful stalls were adorned with various fruits, vegetables, and fragrant herbs.
Hr: Zrak je bio ispunjen šuštanjem razgovora i mirisom svježih cvjetova.
En: The air was filled with the rustle of conversations and the scent of fresh flowers.
Hr: U toj gužvi, Luka i Ivana, učenici, stajali su s grupom iz škole.
En: In this crowd, Luka and Ivana, students, stood with a group from school.
Hr: Danas su došli na izlet kako bi naučili o trgovini i lokalnim proizvodima.
En: Today they came on a field trip to learn about trade and local products.
Hr: Luka je volio prirodu.

En: Ivana said, pulling him through the crowd.
Hr: No, Luka je imao svoj plan.
En: But Luka had his own plan.
Hr: Tražio je biljku ili plod kojeg još nikad nije vidio.
En: He was looking for a plant or fruit he had never seen before.
Hr: Nešto što će potaknuti njegovu obitelj da se okuša u vrtlarenju.
En: Something that would inspire his family to try gardening.
Hr: Tržnica je bila prepuna ljudi.
En: The market was packed with people.
Hr: Gužva je Luku zastrašivala.
En: The crowd intimidated Luka.
Hr: Svi su se kretali brzo, razgovarali glasno, a boje i mirisi su ga zasipali sa svih strana.
En: Everyone was moving quickly, talking loudly, and colors and scents were assaulting him from all sides.
Hr: Ivana ga je vodila od jednog štanda do drugog, no on nije mogao pronaći ono što je tražio.
En: Ivana was leading him from one stall to another, but he couldn't find what he was looking for.
Hr: Napetost u Luki je rasla.
En: Tension in Luka was growing.
Hr: "Ivana, mogu li otići sam?
En: "Ivana, can I go alone?"
Hr: " upitao je napokon, skupivši hrabrost.
En: he finally asked, gathering courage.
Hr: Ivana ga je začuđeno pogledala.
En: Ivana looked at him surprised.
Hr: "Naravno," rekla je.
En: "Of course," she said.
Hr: "Naći ćemo se kod izlaza za sat vremena.
En: "We'll meet at the exit in an hour."
Hr: "Luka je krenuo sam.
En: Luka went off on his own.
Hr: Hodao je među štandovima, pažljivo gledajući različito bilje i voće.
En: He walked among the stalls, carefully looking at different herbs and fruits.
Hr: Zatim je stao kod malog štandića s neobičnim biljkama.
En: Then he stopped at a small stall with unusual plants.
Hr: Starija gospođa koja je prodavala začinsko bilje, primijetila je njegov zanimanje.

Hr: "Ovo je rijedak bosiljak.
En: "This is a rare basil.
Hr: Vrlo je poseban," rekla mu je s osmijehom.

Hr: Gospođa mu je pričala o povijesti te biljke i gdje raste.
En: The lady told him about the history of the plant and where it grows.
Hr: Osjećao se ponosno dok je kupovao biljku.

Hr: Htio ju je pokazati obitelji i ispričati im sve što je naučio.

Hr: Na putu prema izlazu, ponovno se sreo s Ivanom.
