This year back to school takes on a whole new meaning. With youngsters, teens, and college students heading back indoors after months and in some cases years of online learning, what’s old is not new again.

I just dropped my daughter off to college after a high school senior year and a college freshman year courtesy of our porch, our living room, and our bedrooms. The transition for me to get back to business is complicated by the unknown of my daughter's ability to get back to school. While entrepreneurship requires that I get back into the office.  Not everyone is joining me.

This Saturday marks the 20th anniversary of our modern "Day of Infamy": the deadly attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington, DC, and the crash of Flight 93 in western Pennsylvania. 20 years on, the day remains a vivid memory for me and I’m sure for you too. The history is dark. But there is always hope and a silver lining if you look for one.
