Your career will reward you more the better your business abilities are and the more effort you put into it. But as an agent, how will you get referrals from the beginning? What are the methods that you can use in order to have bigger commissions from real estate?

In this week’s episode, I will be talking about how to avoid that sinking feeling in your stomach when you realize your neighbor just listed without you and different methods that you can use as an agent that would do well in subdivisions and can be used in small towns to be able to gain more referrals.       

 I will touch on such topics as: 

• If you lose just one listing per month in your subdivision, it will cost you an average of 108,000 dollars per year in commissions. 
• If you capture one listing per month in your subdivision and a seller buys another house, you’ll make an additional 216,000 dollars per year in commissions. 
• Sometimes, all it takes is a minor tweak in your business to open up the floodgates to going to the next level.
• Many times you are doing the same things right, but sometimes there are things that need to be changed or done a little bit differently.
• It is not meant to be your only mode of prospecting. You need to have multiple modes.
• Your mode won’t work if you don’t. You have to be willing to work. 
• Even if you are a brand new agent and you just started, if you do it right and set up the business the right way the first time, you will start getting referrals.
