The leaves are changing color, the breeze is cooler, and the light from the sun dims a little faster. These activities usher in the holiday season. More specifically my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving. Although called Thanksgiving, we sometimes tend to be more anxious than thankful around this time. (Scripture Reading - I Chronicles 16:34)

Psalm 23 is one of the most popular passages of scripture around. We see it printed on coffee mugs, t-shirts, and even license plates. We hear it recited in movies, sitcoms, and on social media reels. But have you taken time to read it to understand the picture David is painting? (Scripture Reading- Psalm 23)

The miracles that Jesus performed required an important element from the recipient, belief. Unbelief does not minimize His power however, it can be a barrier that hinders us from receiving it. (Scripture Reading - Mark 9:14 - 27)

Jesus taught His followers about the importance of what they do behind the scenes, because the fruit of those actions will be on public display. (Scripture Reading - Matthew 12:33)

It is comforting to know that each of us carry the same attributes of Jesus Christ, by way of the Holy Spirit, that He sent back to dwell in us all. Allowing the comforter to guide our words and actions leads us into true fellowship with God and our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. (Galatians 5:22 & 23).

When studying God’s word, many feel that the more they read in a day the better. But, for God’s word to truly work in our lives we must make sure our goal is quality over quantity. (Scripture Reading: Psalm 119: 15-16)

This year's conference was one for the books! The conversation, empowerment, and worship that flowed over those two days was wonderful. Be on the lookout for the next conference in 2026!

This life presents many unknowns. Sometimes the fear of those unknown things cause anxiety and worry. For some, that anxiousness is more gripping than others. However, let us remember that Jesus is with us and knows how we feel. Give that worry over to Him and let Him replace it with peace and joy. (Scripture Reading- Philippians 4:6-7 & II Corinthians 10:5)
