Director of Athletics, Amy Folan talks men's basketball memories and the brand new season with two prestigious Central Michigan hoops alums. Dan Majerle, the 14-year NBA veteran and 3x NBA All-Star stops by, along with one of his former coaches at Central Michigan, Denny Kuiper. Kuiper played at Central from 1967-1971 and then helped coach as an assistant for multiple years, along with being a head coach at Sacred Heart and Mount Pleasant High School.

Director of Athletics Amy Folan welcomes a couple of guests going into the Marcy Weston CMU Athletics Hall of Fame. First, Stephanie Martin was inducted from women's soccer. Martin was a four-time MAC honoree and won MAC Freshman of the Year in 2006. She helped get the Chippewas their first MAC regular season and tourney titles and led Central Michigan to their first NCAA tournament berth. Second, Chippewa legend Dave Keilitz speaks on behalf of the 1977 Central Michigan baseball team going into the Hall of Fame. Dave was the head coach of that memorable squad, the first CMU baseball team to win a MAC title.

These two went to Central Michigan and express how passionate they still are about their Alma mater. They share the importance of what this place did for them and why they still are so adamant on giving back to the university.

Amy talks with two student-athletes who won awards for their business ventures at this year's competition and alum Bob Oros, a dedicated CMU supporter and New Venture Challenge judge.

Amy sits down with Andy Bronkema, Central Michigan's new men's basketball coach. They discuss his coaching journey, his Michigan roots, what he's expecting for the program and what he's most excited about as he begins his new role as a CMU Chippewa.

As March Madness kicks off, Amy talks with CMU women’s basketball head coach Kristin Haynie and former head coach Sue Guevara about their personal experiences with the NCAA Tournament and the growth of women’s collegiate basketball. They also discuss CMU’s history and connections with women’s collegiate basketball and the NCAA.

Every year, 340 CMU students are involved in career-building learning opportunities within Central Michigan Athletics. They work as employees and volunteers, in roles such as courtside reporters, videographers, gameday statistics and operations staff and marketing assistants. Amy sat down with four CMU students who are working in various roles within the department — three of which are student-athletes — to talk with them about their roles.

Arielle Wilson was hired as CMU’s new Head Volleyball Coach in January, becoming the 6th coach in program history. Amy sat down with Coach Wilson to talk about her impressive playing and coaching career and her Midwest roots. They also discuss her goals for the program and her commitment to student-athlete development.
