We are back after one year... and we are talking Love Languages.. In this episode, I allowed Ish to be himself and he went out of control.. While I kept trying to take back control.
Love is expressed in different languages, and sometimes we miss our partner's expressions of love because we're listening for the wrong signals.
• The five love languages include physical touch, words of affirmation, acts of service, quality time, and receiving gifts
• Understanding your partner's love language helps you recognize how they're already showing love
• Sunny's primary love language is quality time, while physical touch ranks as her lowest
• Even small gestures like refilling toilet paper or cleaning snow off a car can be profound expressions of love
• Taking the love languages quiz as a couple can provide valuable relationship insights
• Don't create stories in your head about your partner not loving you
• Commitment and authenticity matter more than "working" on your relationship
• Both expressing and receiving love in your preferred language creates deeper connection
Take the Love Languages quiz to discover your own profile and better understand how you and your partner naturally express love.
Have you ever been in a social gathering and refused the offer for a drink? What were the reactions of people around you? Especially for the men out there?
In this Episode, we are talking about the social pressures and expectations around alcohol consumption. Ish adopted the Sober life 17 months back, and he has felt the impact in his social and corporate life. He feels that he is not invited to all work lunches or dinners anymore.
Is it because people feel uncomfortable around him?
We also talked about the consumption of alcohol to fit in or to take the edge off.
Listen to the full episode where Sunny inadvertently called Ish "big guy" LOL.

Have you had family, friends, and random people ask you the most dreaded question - "When are you having kids?"

Cooking, Cleaning, Laundry, Paperwork, Parenting... where is Love in all this?
In this episode, we are talking about chores - how to divide them without killing each other. How to take responsibility and make sure everyone is doing their part. We also talked about how certain tasks were historically the wife's responsibility and how we are breaking those patterns.
Should my partner know my phone password? Is it okay to hide things from my partner? Just because I am in a relationship, does it mean I don't have the right to privacy? Trust and privacy go hand in hand in a marriage. In this episode, Sunny & Ish talk about the fine balance of trust and privacy in a relationship. Even when you are together 24/7, there are certain things that should be private, while others that can cause problems if they are kept private.
Join us as we discuss the side effects of having a kid.
Ish complains that he is being ignored while Sunny is head over heels in love with her little boy. We also talk about how to support each other through parenting, and how everyday things become really hard once a kid enters the relationship.
Every story has a beginning which paves the path for all great things to come. Do all love stories start with stars and sparkles? Or can they start with a plan, an understanding, a checklist and a very strong gut feeling. Does that mean the stars didn't align or they aligned so perfectly that we dated only 6 months. In this episode, let's meet Sunny & Ish as they talk about the beginning of this 15-year journey.
