Lauren Driver didn’t grow up on a farm, but when she married her husband five years ago, she married into the farm life.
As a general manager for McDonald’s, Lauren was used to working with people in a business setting. After joining the farm full-time, she’s had to learn how to blend her business background with her new role at their row crop operation.
Additionally, Lauren and her husband have had to learn how to blend their families. With his two daughters and her son, they have worked to create a strong new family.
In this episode, Lauren mentions a Facebook Group called Farmer’s Wives that has helped her find community with other rural and agricultural women around the world. Search for Farmer’s Wives on Facebook groups to request to join.
“The person you love has a passion…. Did I love the farm when I first came out here? No….But I love my husband and my husband loves the farm.” -Lauren Driver
