The nations notice what God's people are up to and they want to be a part of it. They cling to the hem of the garment because God's people live a communal life that reflects the God to Whom they cling. All of this happens because God dwells within creation and so heaven and earth overlap. 

Zechariah 7:1-14

We cannot ignore God's anger in response to His people in the book of Zechariah. How might we receive a greater understanding of God's wrath and judgment in the context of covenant and justice, not just consequence? What might God want to mend: in us and in relationship with Godself and one another?

Zechariah 8, Isaiah 55, Psalm 126

God is restoring [and re-storying] us, inviting our participation in the restoration of all things, especially as we surrender our pain, expectations and anxieties over to God. 

Zechariah 14:6-9

At some point, we all lose sight of home and where things are headed. We can find hope in the already-not yet reality of God's rule and reign, living in particular ways that help that "unique day" be realized even now.

Zechariah 1:1-17

As we kick off a new series called "Dreams + Visions" based out of the book of Zechariah, we take this first week to explore how God comforted His people despite both generational disobedience of the past and uncertainties about the future. As we navigate our various present-day realities, what might this Old Testament prophet show us about God's willingness and ability to comfort us while waiting on His promises?

John 21:15-25

This passage is about more than the relationship between Jesus and Peter being restored. This is also an invitation to all disciples to renewed relationship and faithful, particular care for Jesus' sheep. 

John is inviting his readers to see the unchanging and ever-faithful nature of the risen Christ. We clearly see how God deeply desires to speak to, guide, and partner with humanity. So, come on! Bring what you've got and join in the Kingdom work.

John 21:1-14

Guest preacher Tara Beth Leach focuses on the confession of Thomas and how subversive and courageous it was, re-storying the narrative as Thomas the doubter. That confession was life-altering for both Thomas and the disciples, and that same confession can be life-altering for us today.

John 20:11-31

Ashlee and Troy walk us through this text and highlight the significance of the empty tomb: the darkness, the diversity of the disciples, the environment of the tomb itself and the disciples' perpetual lack of understanding. Through these few verses we find hope, grace, and the promise of Resurrection life that doesn't depend on us.
