A former federal prosecutor, Maria Horn ran  to advocate in Hartford for the people of Connecticut’s Northwest Corner. Her core mission is to make our district’s nine towns vibrant communities where families can thrive. That includes promoting high-quality public education; ensuring access to affordable, comprehensive health care, including reproductive, addiction, and mental health services; helping local businesses and farms with the resources they need to grow; and protecting our environment, both our wild and agricultural spaces. She believes in clean and fair elections. She will fight to protect our voting rights and is working hard against the corrosive influence of “dark money” in our elections. Maria is endorsed by the Sierra Club and is a Moms Demand Action Gun Safety candidate.
