Martin Pasko...RIP

 

We’ve just learned that Martin Pasko, the amazing Canadian writer behind many of your favourite comics and cartoons since the 1970’s, has passed away. He was 65 years of age. His long time friends, Paul Kupperberg and Paul Levitz broke the sad news on social media, writing very moving testimonials for the hugely talented and brilliant writer most famous in Joe circles for his unforgettable work on the Sunbow two-parter, ‘Worlds Without End’. Easily one of my favourite G.I. Joe/Action Force stories of all time. We are truly devastated here at The Full Force and our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and close friends at this time. We will be dedicating our VHS watch along tonight to Martin and can’t wait to gush over one of his many brilliant pieces of work from a quite glittering career. As the posts flood in from the people who knew him best, it is clear that we have lost another good person and a legend in the industry. Rest in Peace, Martin, Yo Joe and Full Force.
