  • SYNTHESIS :: Wimmin of Industrial :: feat. Orphea // Plaguelustre // DJ Carbon // MARTYR
FrequenZ Mixshow is very excited to announce our Wimmin of Industrial collaboration showcasing 4 womyn identifying DJs. The entertainment industry is a difficult place in which to carve out a career, and attempting to navigate this patriarchal landscape is trying as a womyn DJ. First, we have Orphea who currently hosts R-evolution in Ghent, Belgium, assaulting us with Hard EBM and Aggrotech beats. Next, we have PlagueLustre (NYC/Baltimore) who currently holds a Thursday residency on SquareWāv TV on Twitch, providing us with pulsating warehouse-inspired Dark Techno beats. Third, we have DJ Carbon who has held residencies at The Wave and 37th & Zen in the Virginia Beach area, with her tinnitus-inducing PowerNoise set. MARTYR, the host of FrequenZ Mixshow and TechNoir Events in Virginia, rounds up the mix with a short set of new school EBM music. We hope you enjoy the mix! • Zeroland II (Industrial / Dark Ambient Mix) by Martyr
It has been 4 years since I recorded a Dark Ambient Mix. I have been struggling with some inner demons lately, and in times such as this, I always turn to Dark Ambient. It is one of only a few genres that actually makes me feel anything. So if you're in the mood for some spooky cinematic music, this is the mix for you. Best effect if listened to on good speakers. I hope you enjoy the mix. Please like and share on Mixcloud or social media, if you feel inclined to. Please let me know what you think in the comments down below.
