As a devoted fan of the original film, I absolutely adore the sequel.

When it comes to horror flicks, this one is leagues ahead of that garbage, Scream 7.

It's incredibly refreshing to witness a sequel that genuinely honors its predecessor and maintains real continuity.

The story picks up right where the first movie left off, with the two sisters fighting to survive until dawn. Every actor delivers a stellar performance; it was a delight to see Elijah Wood on the big screen, and he was fantastic in his role as the lawyer. Samara Weaving also shone brightly as the quintessential scream queen.

If anyone happens to read this and is in search of something a little different to catch at the cinema, I wholeheartedly recommend checking this out. If you, like me, were left feeling let down by Scream 7, this film serves as a perfect palate cleanser.
