Wouldn't it be great if life was easy? Have you ever had life through you a curve ball that you were not expecting? Sometimes life catches you off guard. You are living life. Things are humming along fine and then... they are not. The good news is that God is there when you are knocking it out of the park and when it seems as if nothing is going right. There is a meme going around that I love - Jesus Didn't say come to me all who are crushing it, living your best life, and I will give you rest. He said..."Come to me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. If you are discouraged, tired, or weary, don't worry. That is exactly how Jesus expects you to come to Him."

This is a special podcast dealing with how as Christians we can respond to the issue of illegal immigration. This is a subject that is affecting our community today. Here in Jupiter Florida ICE, Border Patrol and other agencies are rounding up people for deportation. Some of these people are our brothers and sisters in the Lord. How do we love people who have broken the laws of our nation? How can we make sure that our fellow Americans in Law enforcement know that they have our support while still showing compassion for people whose lives will be different than when they woke up this morning? This is not just a political issue. This is a moral issue and an issue of love. How can I as a Christian show compassion while at the same time as an American be for making sure our country is respected and law and order maintained? These are simple and complex questions that do have answers and solutions. This podcast will challenge you, encourage you and cause us to be more unified as we care for one another.

Have you ever had questions for God? Have you ever just wanted to ask Him why? Of course you have. Many of us were taught that we should "never question God." If that is true then how are we to ever know things from Him? God Himself tells us to Ask, Seek and Knock. Asking God questions is not a lack of faith. It actually takes great faith to believe that you can ask Him questions (Anything) and trust He will answer you. Be encouraged! God is not angry with you "why". He welcomes it and He will answer you just as He promised.

Did you know that God uses Sarcasm. There are some people who believe that sarcasm is evil. This is not true. Sarcasm is a fantastic way to communicate. like all communication it is how you use it and the intent behind it and the content of what is being said. I believe that this will be a podcast that we can enjoy together.

Have you ever been lost? I mean really lost. Have you ever lost your child? The panic and fear that sets in is remarkable. Being lost and knowing that you are lost is a scary thing. The Bible tells us that Jesus came to seek and to save the lost. There are two types of people who are lost - Those who know that they are lost and those who have no idea that they are lost. Either way they are lost. As Christians it is important to understand that God has made us a part of finding the lost. In this episode we will discuss the need to regain our seriousness about helping people find Jesus. We need to regain our passion for people and making sure that they are found and that they are safe and saved. God has called us to keep people out of danger spiritually. It is a great call. It is a Great Commission, and it is a great privilege.

People are looking for strong people. Those who can shoulder responsibility. Those who are emotionally strong. Those who are able to carry burdens and to help solve problems. We all need people to that we can look to when we are weak and need help. The Bible tells us that WE are to carry one another's burdens. WE are stronger together. All of us have times when we are at our peak of strength and all of us have times when we are at a place of weakness. It is when we help each other and stand together that we can make it through all the seasons of life. What we find is that our strength is in the Lord. It is out of the strength of God that we find true joy even in life's unhappy moments.

Wouldn't it be great if everyone was easy to get along with? The reality is that life is full of difficult people. Sometimes that person is us. This podcast will look at what it takes to interact with people that challenge us. It is possible to develop the skills and ability to work and live with people that rub you the wrong way. It is possible to win people over who you never thought would be on your side. It is also some people that you will need to walk away from some people and leave them in their misery without it making you miserable. Be encouraged God is taking you to a different place with people and situations that will leave you better than when you started.

There is a huge difference between a man and a boy. Today we have many males who are well up in age but have never moved from being a boy into manhood. There has been an all-out assault against men. This assault has left men weakened and women and children vulnerable. This podcast is a challenge to both men and women. Let men be men! Men of God, Gentlemen, leaders, defenders and providers. Men can never be a woman, and a woman can never be a man. God designed it this way. Our differences are to be celebrated, appreciated and never regretted, minimized or apologized for. Men, Let's rise up, stand up, speak up and train the next generation of young men, to become decisive men, men of God and men who know how to love women and children the way that God does!

This week we are looking at being rejected. Rejection is not a fun word. It is probably not the most fun of topics, yet it is one that has impacted every one of us on some level. The good news is that Jesus understands the impact that this has on our lives. He experienced it himself. This podcast will take a deep look at rejection and how to receive healing. Many times, what we thought would destroy us actually was the redirecting hand of God moving us in a much better direction. It could be a job, a relationship or an opportunity. REJECTED by People but DIRECTED by God! Redirected into something much better for us and that brings Glory to HIM! Be encouraged my friend God is for you!

Selfishness, we see it all around us and if we are honest, we see it in ourselves. Selfishness is epidemic in our society. We are a ME First people. This is what comes natural to us. Looking out for # one. One of the great Biblical truths is that the first shall be last and the last shall be first. To be great we must be a servant of all. God calls us to be a people of love. The opposite of love is not hate. The opposite of hate is worship, but the opposite of love is selfishness. In this week's podcast we are going to discuss this idea of selfishness and what to the life that we are really called to live.
