In this episode Dr. Michael Stifelman of Hackensack Univesrity Medical Center discusses the introduction of the single port robotic platform into urologic surgery. He will review their early experience with SP and where they see this exciting technology fitting into the urologic minimally invasive surgery.

Minimally invasive techniques to NUx and specifically management of the bladder cuff have evolved over the last decade. Various techniques to managing the ureteral orifice and bladder cuff have been attempted including cystoscopic, laparoscopic and more recently robotic approaches. In this podcast I will review some of the historical approaches and end with my approach to managing the distal ureter and bladder cuff using the daVinci Xi robotic system.
