It was a smashing commercial success, becoming Disney’s highest-grossest movie at the time as moviegoers were enamored by the heart-warming story about a dysfunctional family and their magical nanny with a heart of gold. The songs performed by cast members Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyck are as recognizable today as any song written in the 1960s....
