Summary: As we begin to venture into those chasms and divides in our life, let us remember that we don’t do this alone; and we aren’t blindly jumping off a cliff. No, when we venture into these chasms, we find Jesus waiting for us there. The One Who crossed the chasm between us and God, the One Who chose to be poor, rejected, and outcast here on Earth; the One Who showed us how to stretch our hearts in love by stretching out His arms on the Cross; the One Who in His Resurrection crossed over the chasm between death and life so that we could live forever with Him in Heaven.

Summary: Whatever gifts God has given us, we all recognize and respect the emphasis and intentionality we put into not “wasting” these gifts. In spending time, effort, and resources in developing these gifts to make our lives and the lives of all people better in this world.

Summary: My friends, whenever we’re feeling distant from God, remember that’s precisely the time to turn to Him in prayer. Have faith that He is waiting for you - that He is in that moment pursuing you more than ever. Whenever we’re worried about another person who seems to be distant from God, a child, a loved one, a friend, remember, that’s precisely the time to intercede for that person and commend him or her to God in prayer.

Summary: We can turn to Jesus to teach us the way; to give us the strength; to help us carry our cross; to lead us safely to Heaven. Jesus is the One—the only One—who can transform us from being His follower, to becoming His disciple.
