Many of you asked us if Colombia is safe to travel as an Indian. So we went to Bogotá and decided to show you instead of just telling you.

The plan was the National Museum but it was closed. So we ended up at Monserrate, which honestly should've happened sooner. We've been to Bogotá three or four times and never went because of the legend: unmarried couples who visit together break up. We weren't taking chances. Now that we're married twice, we finally went. ⛰️

The mountain has more to it than the legend. Indigenous communities used it long before the Spanish arrived and built a church right on top of it. And some devotees still climb the whole hill on their knees as an act of worship. It reminded us of Angapradakshanam in India, where devotees roll around the temple as offering. Different cultures but the same devotion. 🙏

We both grew up eating rice, lentils, and home-cooked meals. Turns out that's where the similarities end. Indian and Colombian food are genuinely different, and this video gets into exactly how and why.

So I made a quiz for my Colombian wife. A full-on Tamil and Indian culture quiz to know how much Luisa actually knows about my birthplace 😅

We went through food, customs, traditions, Tamil words, and some tricky cultural questions. Luisa gave it her all, most answers were spot on, and some were... creative 😂

This one was fun to film, but it also reminded us how much we are still learning about each other's worlds. And honestly, that is kind of the whole point of being in an intercultural relationship, right?
