Samsung has finally revealed the date of the Galaxy S9 launch. The company just sent out invites to a Feb. 25 press event at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona where Samsung plans to unveil the Galaxy S9. Launch date aside, Samsung also appeared to confirm that the S9's cameras are in for some major upgrades. Though the company didn't give much away, the invitation is emblazoned with the words "The Camera. Reimagined.

The 2018 Winter Olympics are almost here. For the skiers and snowboarders of Team USA, that means constant training on the slopes — and in virtual reality. For the past two years, U.S. Ski and Snowboard has been working with Strivr, a VR training startup based in Menlo Park, California. The Utah-based national governing body for skiing and snowboarding uses Strivr's VR platform to train athletes for World Cup competitions as well as the upcoming Olympics.

DJI is set to unveil a new consumer drone on Jan. 23, but a leak appears to have already spoiled the announcement. The new drone is purportedly called the "Mavic Air," and looks to be a cross between DJI's ultra compact and foldable Mavic Pro and the even tinier, gesture-controlled Spark. Amazon has just opened their new cashier-less convenience store, Amazon Go, deep in the heart of Seattle's Belltown district and around the block from the Amazon Spheres.
