HQ trivia, the live game-show app that launched in July, is ridiculously hard to win, but contestant Allan Gibbons repeatedly finds a way. Better known by his username “AllanG,” Gibbons is an HQ trivia celebrity, born from his knack for dominating the game show's daily competitions. The 28-year-old radio DJ from Owen Sound, Canada has earned more than $870 from the nine games he's won and has sat at the top of the all-time leaderboard for about two months.

He won't say how many coins he had, but all of Litecoin founder Charlie Lee's share in the cryptocurrency has been sold or donated. In a Reddit post early Wednesday, Lee explained how his stake in Litecoin is a conflict of interest: "Whenever I tweet about Litecoin price or even just good or bads [sic] news, I get accused of doing it for personal benefit," he wrote. Chinese electric car startup Nio has launched its first vehicle, the ES8. It's an all-electric, modern SUV that's a direct competitor to Tesla's Model X — and it costs half as much. The price for the ES8 starts at 448,000 yuan ($67,697) in China, while the Model X starts at 836,000 yuan ($126,328). Despite being much cheaper than its U.S.-based rival, the Nio ES8 sounds like it can hold its own against the Model X.

Facebook has launched a feature to let you temporarily hide annoying friends from your newsfeed. The feature, Snooze, allows you to unfollow a person, page, or group for 30 days. With Snooze, you can clear your News Feed of friends you still like, but who currently won't stop posting about their recent exotic vacation, wedding, or new cat. When their life is back to normal, you can "Unsnooze" them, and they'll be none the wiser.

Amazon has a holiday gift for its Prime members. The online retailer has launched free one-day and same-day delivery for Prime members for the duration of the holiday season. That means Amazon Prime members can order Christmas gifts as early as Dec. 24, if orders are in before 9:30 a.m. local time, though some later orders may be fulfilled. Last year's latest fulfilled holiday order was placed at 10:23 a.m. on Christmas Eve, the company claims.
