Thursday of the Twenty-sixth Week in Ordinary Time. Father Dave says that in today's culture, people are always looking for the next new and exciting thing. He makes the point that going to Mass -- an ancient tradition -- is countercultural. Father Dave encourages us to continue going to Mass because these ancient rituals will sustain us more than a new gadget or exciting experience.
