Boston drivers have a reputation for being some of the worst drivers in the country and get a bad rap for being aggressive on the roadways. According to a recent LendingTree study, Massachusetts has the worst drivers in the U.S. Based on data collected from Nov. 5th, 2023, through Nov. 4th, 2024, Massachusetts drivers had 61.1 incidents (accidents, DUIs, speeding and citations) per 1,000 drivers.
