Today I want to explore the dramatic and surprisingly heartbreaking backstory of the comedian of the Furious Five: Master Monkey. You see this golden snub nosed monkey was raised by his mother along with his older brother Wu Kong, and grew up feeling like a joke. In response, he pranked everyone around him and tormented the rest of his village, until Master Oogway humbled him and convinced him he should use his fighting abilities for good, and that turning point would eventually lead him to kung fu, Tigress, and the Jade Palace.
