Apologies for some of the audio lag between us, there's just some weeks when Skype and OBS don't like each other.  Does get better as the show goes on though. 

On Episode 296 the crew briefly discuss Ben Cooper Masters of the Universe Costumes before moving on to their own memories of Halloween's past.  Joe of course went out Trick or Treating this year and just like all the years before that we've known him we relentlessly give him hell for it.  We share our excitement for the upcoming Lords of Power toyline that was revealed earlier in the week and briefly give our thoughts on the trailer for Part 2 of Masters of the Universe: Revelation.  If you haven't checked out the video version of the show I recommend it for at least the first few minutes of the show so you can see our costumes! 

In Tyler's absence Rebekah enjoys a strong alcoholic beverage as Joe tries to lead this drunken band of misfits to a quality discussion about the underappreciated action figure line and character designs from The New Adventures of He-Man.  Did our inebriated eyes deceive us or did we catch a specter during the live broadcast? Nathan plays with his newly acquired Power Sword to see if it works as advertised.  I would say this is a loaded episode but it may have just been the two thirds of Fans of Power.  Enjoy!   

Taking a break from the usual ranking episode, the crew (sans Rebekah) decide to try out the tier list system to decide which vintage vehicles and mounts reign supreme.  Joe and Nathan have it out over the recently released Halloween Kills while Tyler gives us a list of monikers for himself to be used during the intro's going forward.  Will you agree with our list or have we finally lost our minds? James Eatock returns to show off a new storyboard scene from "The Return of Faker" involving Mer-Man and Teela, as well as unproduced content Filmation had in the works for Season 2 of He-Man and The Masters of the Universe!   

This week on Fans of Power the crew toss out all of their choices in casting a She-Ra movie in 1988. Joe digs himself into a hole, Tyler's audio is wonky, Rebekah may never bake for Joe again and Nathan having survived the challenge last week declares himself the hot sauce king.  We also share some devastating news that Joe may never recover from.   

Which of the 15 characters released in the 1987 wave has the coolest card back?  You're about to find out as we all give our rankings from worst to best.  Joe loses his place but it's because he can't contain his excitement of subjecting Nathan, Newt, and her boyfriend to "The End: Flatline" later in the show. A hot sauce that is made with 4 different peppers that range from 1-2.2 million Scoville and a 7 million Scoville extract!  Who will survive? and what will be left of them.....?

In a bonus edition of the Fans of Power Podcast Joe and Nathan take one for the team and give their thoughts on the 10 episode first season of the new He-Man and The Masters of the Universe Cartoon from Netflix.   

Joe shows up 40 minutes late.  Was it another spider fight? This episode is off the rails but from what we've heard, you all enjoy these kinds of episodes.  We hope you enjoy this crazy adventure as well!
