Master Power Cast

Rebekah is absent (we promise we didn't scare her off) this week as the original trio rank 17 cardbacks from wave 5 of the vintage Masters of the Universe line.  Epiphanies are had, illusions are shattered and by the way, is Joe on psychedelics?

After an interesting week the previous episode Fans of Power is back to normal, well as normal as they can be and we discuss Parts 1 & 2 of Sea Hawk's adventure in "Anchors Aloft"! Was Admiral Scurvy a great one shot villain? Did Davey Jones become too annoying? Give a click to find out!  In addition to this we add to the mythology of Joe, he tells more weird food stories and we all too briefly reminisce renting VHS tapes from libraries and video stores.

For better or worse it's finally here.  We've finally got the first half of MOTU: Revelation.  Click to found out our thoughts!

This week we each create 5 new characters to join The Heroic Warriors, Evil Warriors, Horde, Great Rebellion and Snake Men factions while adding a new member to our own! Enjoy the show!

In a bonus mid week episode from last week that I totally forgot to upload here Joe and Nathan give their thoughts on the first issues of the Masters of the Universe Prequel Comic from Dark Horse!

On this week's show Nathan tries one of Joe's weird food concoctions, Tyler opens the show with his own version of "We Will Rock You" and all 3 of them break down why they have such a problem with King Grayskull's addition to the mythology of Masters of the Universe.  Nathan however has a pitch to fix it! Was it a good idea or was his brain fried from Joe's snack abomination? Click to find out!

On the July 4th edition of the Fans of Power Podcast the crew celebrates Nathan's birthday! There was no cake or presents but the viewing audience will be treated to the sounds of fireworks in the background which is reflective in the pod's explosive mood after this weeks release of the 2nd trailer for Masters of the Universe Revelation Netflix show.  They also break down Filmations "The Rainbow Warrior"!

It's another special guest and this go around we're joined by Rebekah "Newt" from Simple Tricks & Nonsense!  We discuss Red Sonja, knock off She-Ra toys, her cosplay attires, weirdos at conventions as well as the good, the bad and the ugly of certain fandoms.  Joe is excited for free Slurpees, Nathan finally got a copy of The Power and The Honor Foundation Catalog, and Tyler finally found a person that knows his movie quotes!  Enjoy the show!

The Fans of Power Podcast travels back almost 20 years ago to discuss the short lived Masters of the Universe Staction Figures!  In the ashes of the 200X line from Mattel based off of the MYP cartoon Four Horsemen Studios teamed up with NECA to bring us this beautiful continuation.  What are Joe, Tyler and Nathan's Top 3 characters they would have liked to have seen in the mix?  Tune in to find out!

In a special bonus mid-week edition of the Fans of Power Podcast Joe and Nathan flip through an issue of the Masters of the Universe magazine for the first time in quite a few months.  Joe shows off his newly aquired Masterverse Skelegod, Nathan gets tipped off to new G.I. Joe Classified pre-orders mid-show and a Masters of the WWE Universe figure was spotted in the wild? Is the "He-Man of the issue" another huge liar? What happened to Sy-Klone's face? Just how creepy are Joe and Nathan's "kid" voices? Give a click and all will be revealed!  Enjoy the show!
