Greetings once again fellas, this month's episode is a special birthday mix recorded from our crop of archived 12" Records. 70 minutes of glass breaking and exhilarating tunes for you to enjoy.

The mix was inspired by a Vinyl Frontier mix composed by Funk Deepstar in 2007 for 5fm. Recorded in the wee hours of the morning, and yours truly sat there closely watching as Funk was doing his wizards on the desk. That's when Master Ryken told him that one day he will compose something similar.

It's been seven years since then but hey, our music is timeless and stands the test of time.

It's been a while since the release of an in-house tape.

But thanks to our affiliates DJ Moloko (DOD Session) and Carld Deep HD (One Night Affair Session) for keeping the fire burning with the guest tapes they made for us.

We are delivering here our 19th Episode, dedicated to the Loving Memory of one of our friend and supporter Dukez. His support from our very first episode has managed to keep us going. Him preferring to come fetch the tapes personally made us feel special and it helped with continuity to take pride in our work.

Born Mokgadi Moloko Mabela in Soweto and raised in Polokwane; Moloko is a driven, ambitious Disk Jockey and Radio Presenter on Unisa Radio.

From a family of very outspoken individuals, the fascination of radio and tv’s ability to capture listeners and audiences worldwide made Moloko always know she wanted to talk and entertain for a living.

In 2008 DJ Moloko met Victor “SuckaV” Ledwaba; a passionate music lover, DJ and sound guru who introduced to a whole new world of music, events and artists. It was then that Moloko realised that her passion was within reach. 2010 availed an opportunity to learn how to DJ at the Fabulush DJ Academy. With the talented 5fm featured DJ Lindi Lush as a mentor, Moloko fast learnt how to get her way around the decks and has not looked back since. Moloko is inspired by various unique aspects that different artists offer to the global industry, especially smart workers who are able to turn their love for the arts into sustainable careers.

In her spare time, Moloko enjoys travelling and reading a good book. But having played in and around most (if not all) Pretoria and Joburg's best clubs, she is widely known as a Club Disk Jockey and enjoys playing Electro and Deep/Soulful House music.

This is one of her earlier recorded tapes that was never released and was kept in archives. We at Deep Buttered Jams are honoured to host it as a guest-mix.

One of South Africa’s most sort after dj, born in the early 1980s in the heartland of Limpopo province at the former homeland township of the Lebowa government called Lebowakgomo township, Carl Deep Hd developed his love of the music as early as 1996 when he was introduced to the music of the most

influential South African jazz pianists namely Abdullah Ibrahim & Don Laka. He then started collecting house music vinyls as he felt in love with the music and influences of Djs like Dj Fresh, Vinny Da Vinci, DJ Christos, Dj Ganyane, Dj Tokzen, Oskido, and Glen Lewis just to name the few and started djing in 1997.

The name Deeper Bus was inspired by people/Fans that used to listen to his mixtapes, they liked the kind of music he played then the name Deeper Bus was born.

He recently opened a label called TeamDeeperBus that is powered by Lebidike owned by Big Ken, teamed up with DeepForestSA and they have a website www.deeperbus.com where they upload mixtapes and update gig guide.
