Episode 22 Lena Solis Aguilera is our special guest today. Lena is a long-time friend and colleague. When I retired from teaching, I wrote and published a book, Mr. Worm, Sr. Gusano. I offered free assemblies to schools. Lena was one of my first schools to do a presentation. I presented my book to the whole student body, then a more intimate presentation to her class. I was so impressed with space she provides for her students. Love and love of learning is present. Lena is an outstanding caring teacher.  

Lena’s passion and love is also present in her spirituality. She actively contributes to her church: prepares people for their sacraments., and prepares people for their retirement. In her spare time, LOL she manages the giftshop at the church.

Lena is serious about her education. She has a Master’s degree in Mexican American Studies, and is getting her second Masters on Pastoral Theology. Lena is committed to making a difference.
