About Kate Eckman

While working for nearly a decade as a TV news anchor and reporter, I interviewed hundreds of prominent newsmakers, including President Barack Obama and Angelina Jolie. As a writer, I've contributed articles to Woman’s Day Magazine, Redbook Magazine, Forbes, mindbodygreen, the Huffington Post and elephant journal, to name a few. From TV presenter it was a short hop into modeling and soon I was working as a television personality and brand ambassador. But my energy and drive wouldn’t let me stay only in front of the camera, and I began moving into entrepreneurship and business, as well. I’ve helped multiple global beauty brands shape their vision and strategy, and I recently led the team behind the launch of QVC’s first and only proprietary beauty brand, which made more than four million dollars in sales on its first day.
