God doesn't do anything without revealing it to His friends and/or prophets. In contrast to the popular conclusion, Jesus said that God is always working and His chosen plan is to work with people. He calls us co-workers. All this is to say that God makes known to men and women His intentions and thus their involvement in achieving them. We call this having a vision or promise.

The favor (GRACE) of God, freedom from fears & agitating passions (PEACE) and divine enabling capacity (POWER) is made available to a Son who is in pursuit of the visions and promises of God given to them. For all things work together for good to those who obey God and are walking in this defined purpose.

We have as a multitude of humanity defined faith very narrowly and subsequently in an incomplete manner. The effective faith that Christ spoke of when He said to many "your faith has made you whole" is a little more than the attempt to convince oneself of a fact.

Living faith is about reliance and dependency. It is the trusted "assumed" structure upon which a person lays their expectations without fear of disappointment or a doubt to fulfillment.

To follow God in any life venture, economic or otherwise requires this quality of faith to risk anything upon His instruction even when the process involves pain and the look of failure

What does it mean when it says the gathering of brethren in the quote of Jesus, "For wherever two or three are gathered (drawn together as My followers) in (into) My name, there I AM in the midst of them"

In God's design of His kingdom, the temple was the center of the culture. The construction was following the design expressly made known by God to His people. Yet it wasn't only a place of worship but one with a rich culture of brotherhood. The activities of ancient temple worship were designed as a hack to ensure an enduring economy among kin who were to devote their lives to being their brothers' keepers. The place God has chosen to make His dwelling Today is in the lives of human beings.

Are you building a tabernacle for God as per His instructions?

Upon close and honest reflection, the fallibility of our self-preservation is made clear by the quality of life we build from the sweat of our brow and in turn, the inheritance, or lack thereof, that we leave for our progeny. The curse resulting from the fall (death) of Adam (which is you and I) put the earth under unproductivity. We, therefore, need to find a way out of the state of unbridled and unfruitful labour to a position of working in rest.

This is a map of the productivity freedom that we need.

A serious look into the redemptive work of God reveals that it is in large part an economic one. When God snatched the Israelites out of Egypt, He formed a nation. In addition, the entire discourse of Jesus Christ in his three and half years of public work was about establishing a Kingdom. He went so far as to state that the gospel of the Kingdom was to be preached to the poor, not the sinful.

All nations and kingdoms have an economy as a central and unifying system of commerce and culture.

In this class, we return to the beginning and uncover the foundations of God's economic model. We find out how things easily go awry when we are driven by our survival.
