In Warren Buffett's annual letter to investors, he once again emphasizes that "Bond funds should come with a warning label."   Today on Mastering Money, Steve and Sinclair discuss and review a Wall Street Journal report about how investors confuse bonds--where principal is protected--and bond mutual funds/ETFs--where there is no principal protection. Finra is concerned that many advisors are still pushing bond funds as being "safe" when indeed bond funds have entered a new era of risk and may be a threat to the retirement plans of many.
