Wouldn’t it be nice if you could buy the stock of the consensus best companies in the U.S., put them in a drawer, forget about them, and wake up one day tripling your original investment?   Warren Buffett once said  “My favorite holding period is forever.” In other words, Buffett has always looked for stocks classified as  "KEEPERS"--stocks you hold onto.  Markets will rise and fall, but  “keepers” keep making money in hard times,  and are often the first to come back after a downturn as institutional buyers rush in to buy quality at lower prices.
