Michael Jordan would start every pre-game warm up with practicing a chest pass. That perfectly illustrates the point that I want to make in this video: Success comes from doing the simple things right, for a long time. There is no magic skip button.

It is easy to chase a new opportunity with the hope that it will allow you to skip the long and 'boring' work of building a database, pouring into your clients, and sharpening your axe through consistent education.

I know this isn't a revelatory idea, but I find that it always helpful to remind myself that there is no skip button and success in business comes from showing up everyday.
