When I was in the Air Force I had to take my fitness test in my own hands by working "behind the scenes." I didn't tell anybody at my squadron/unit about my plan to conquer that fitness test after I failed a part of it. I just worked the plan with my students at the time and I passed that test. We had to do a certain number of male style push-ups within 1-minute, sit-ups by coming all the way up with our arms across our chest within 1-minute, and we had to run a mile and a half in a specified time for our age. It was hard, but I did it. I was successful. What do you have to overcome to "pass your test?"
In order to get what God has for you and I, we have to be willing to work in silence; in the batcave, and in the field without telling everyone about our plan. God is working behind the scenes and He is in preparation for building your speaker brand in solitude similar to David and Esther in the bible, who are proof that as long as you’re putting work behind your faith, greater will come.
Create your plan for doing the work to speak with confidence. The 5-Day Stage Speaking Challenge is to help aspiring Christian female speakers like you to overcome speaking fear and improve your public address skills. The challenge covers topics like overcoming stage fright, choosing a topic, creating an outline, mastering vocal variety, and delivering your speech.
Be encouraged to embrace your quiet seasons of preparation for future public speaking opportunities. It's just a matter of time before you're successful too.Join us live on Clubhouse DAILY at 6pm EST

In this episode, we're talking about the difference between praying and preying according to Nicholette Hemingway. When it comes to doing what God has called you to do, sometimes we say we're "waiting on God," when really — fear has us stuck, and we become prey to other people’s doubts and opinions. Prayer is powerful, but it’s meant to fuel action, not replace it.
Nicholette gives us a brief glimpse in how to recognize when it's time to move, how to trust what you’ve already prayed about, and how to avoid being paralyzed by fear disguised as "waiting for confirmation." If you’re ready to step out in faith and finally do what God said, this one’s for you!

None of this (building a speaker brand) is going to happen overnight. Think about this - When God told Noah to build the ark, nothing easy about it. In Genesis 7:7 God sent rain on earth for 40 days and 40 nights and Noah's family were the only ones in the ark. Eight, total people.
Noah was successful in building the ark and he and his family were the only survivors, because Noah was faithful, obedient, and focused on what God had for him to do. Let’s ask ourselves, are we the Noah’s of today when it comes to building our speaker brand? If so, I have great news for us: we will achieve the goals and aspirations God has for us. We must stay with it and continue working and connecting with the people God has for us. If you don’t know who your people are yet, continue seeking God out. He will show you.

“Get Out of Your Head and Make it Happen” is a call to stop overthinking and start moving. Janice Burton talks about how we let doubt, fear, or perfectionism talk us out of action. We replay the same thoughts, second-guess ourselves, and wait for the "right" moment, but the truth is, confidence and clarity comes through doing.
You don’t need every detail figured out to begin. What you need is a little courage to take the next step, no matter how small. When you get out of your head and into action, momentum builds, confidence grows, and suddenly the things you’ve been sitting on start to come to life. So, let’s stop stalling, and make it happen.

Have you ever thought, ‘I can’t do this or that, because it makes me uncomfortable?’ If so, you’re definitely not alone. That has happened to me and to Sharon Rand, Pulpit Wife. Yet, this is what we know: if you will just stay the course you will get through the course.
God is still on the throne and what He has for you will come to fruition. God works in silence and when we are working as diligently as we can when no one is watching, He will continuously direct our paths. It doesn’t matter what weapons or obstacles are formed against you, they will NOT prosper. So roll up your sleeves, get back in the saddle, and stay the course this time.

Being open to what God has for us will happen.
Just say all right I’ve been through it. It hurt, but I’m not going to be overcome with pain so much so that I can’t help myself help anybody else.
So what is it you want to build? You can build what God has placed in your heart. You can start creating and start leaving an inheritance for your children’s children.
Do you know that success and victory will come to you — will come to you and yours, however, consequently and nevertheless, it will not come overnight, it will take awhile., but success and victory will come!

I’ll see you on the stage.
Let me ask you something? Are you afraid to speak to a large group? Small group? On the live or virtual stage? On Clubhouse? Afraid would will happen if you speak up? Forgetting your words? Being judged? Looking awkward?
I’ve been there. I was once afraid to speak on video? The stage didn’t bother me. It was that daggone video and guess what? It’s still far from natural to me. Yet, when God has called us to speak, we must speak whenever and wherever He tells us. Just as He called Moses to speak through Moses’ fear.
Speaking up can be intimidating. Especially when the pressure is on. But confidence isn’t something you automatically wake up with. It’s built. And not overnight. So you can level up your speaking game and in this episode, I talk about some ways you can do that.

Podcast Music: Jason Felisbret Speaks
In this episode, I talk about why articulation is important. The caveat is that when we're talking about our message, articulation doesn't mean we have to speak the Queen's language. It doesn't mean that if we have an accent or if we might speak with a dialect, we can’t be ourselves. It’s totally okay and necessary that we be who we are. Show up as you -- the key is to just show up. Showing up doesn't mean you can't be an effective communicator with those things that make you unique. In fact, those are the very things that will help you grow into a great brand with an audience who tunes in to hear your voice. Remember, Moses was not the greatest speaker, but God brought him reinforcement--God brought him Aaron. And Moses became better and more confident. God will do the same for you if you invite Him into your heart. Simply start where you are and He will do the rest.
